How I help with your purchase
We’ll discuss your budget, timing and the features that matter to you, then narrow the search. As you compare homes, I’ll help you work through the questions that affect your decision—from condition and repairs to the terms of an offer.
Build a useful shortlist.
Share the listing links or addresses you’re considering, along with what you like and what gives you pause. I’ll help you compare them and narrow the search around your budget, timing and priorities.
Tour with a few questions.
Bring measurements for furniture you’re keeping. Look at stairs, storage and the bedroom arrangement. Check the work route at your usual travel time. We can discuss how each home fits the way you’ll use it.
Check condition and costs.
Your inspector evaluates the home’s condition. We can discuss the findings, documented repairs and questions for a specialist. Keep taxes, insurance and any association charges in the comparison, and review financing questions with your lender.
Understand the offer.
I’ll review relevant sales and competing listings, then explain price, inspections, financing and closing terms with you. Tell me where you have flexibility and which parts of the move need to line up. Those priorities guide our negotiation.
Found a home you want to see?
Send me a few listing links, addresses or MLS numbers, along with what you like and what you want to check. If you’re still looking, tell me your areas, budget and timing.
Buy with Harry’s Home Guide
Time to compare. Room to ask questions.
I want you to feel comfortable asking about a home, an offer or a term you don’t understand. You’re making a major purchase, and my job is to help you evaluate it carefully.
When you’re weighing two properties, we can discuss their layout, condition, ownership costs and how they fit your plans. I’ll explain what we know and help identify what still needs checking.
Buying and selling at the same time? Tell me about both homes early so we can discuss financing questions, closing dates and a backup plan if the timing changes.
Frequently Asked Questions
The timeline depends on your home search, financing and the property you choose. Once an offer is accepted, inspections, the appraisal, title work and lender requirements help determine the closing date. Harry can help you plan around your goals and the deadlines in your contract.
A lender can review your financing options and budget before you spend time touring homes. Preapproval also helps you prepare an offer. If you need a lender introduction, talk with me.
Buyer-agent compensation is negotiable and is outlined in your written buyer representation agreement. A seller may agree to contribute toward it, but that is not guaranteed. Review the agreement with Harry so you understand the fees and any amount you may be responsible for before proceeding.
I help you compare properties, understand offer terms and keep track of the steps and deadlines. I’ll explain your options and negotiate with your priorities in mind, so you can decide how to proceed.
Yes. Add the listing link or address to the inquiry form on this page, with any questions you have. Two or three homes are enough to start a comparison. We can discuss the details and next steps before planning a tour.
I work with buyers in Dallas and nearby communities, including Richardson, Garland, Plano and Frisco. Inquiries elsewhere in Dallas–Fort Worth are welcome. Tell me the locations and everyday routes that matter to you, and we can narrow the search from there. If another area would be better served by a local agent, I can help with an introduction.
